CLARKFIELD — A house fire destroyed a residence in Clarkfield on Saturday afternoon, the Yellow Medicine County Sheriff’s Office said. The occupants of the residence, as well as pets, were able to get out without injury, the Sheriff’s Office said. The fire is under investigation by the Minnesota State Fire Marshal’s Office. Yellow Medicine County dispatch received a call of a house fire around 12:49 p.m. Saturday.
