MADISON — A well-rounded effort helped the Yellow Medicine East volleyball team pick up its first win of the season on Thursday. Taking on Lac qui Parle Valley, the Sting got contributions from up and down their roster as they swept the Eagles 25-19, 25-15, 25-15 in Camden Conference play. Still, the Falcons weren’t able to ride that momentum to a win as they fell 25-19, 25-19, 23-25, 25-19 to the Eagles in Red Rock Conference play. CLARA CITY — The Canby volleyball team attempted to spark a comeback with a third-set win over MACCRAY on Thursday night in Camden Conference play, but it wasn’t enough as the Lancers fell 25-15, 25-13, 23-25, 25-17. The Rabbits claimed the first game 25-20, but Cedar Mountain rattled off 25-15, 25-22, 25-23 wins from there to claim the match.
