DAWSON -- The Dawson-Boyd volleyball team fell back to .500 on Thursday with a 25-11, 25-14, 25-19 loss to Renville County West in Camden Conference play.
The Blackjacks got a solid performance from their defensive back row. Kate Gruwell and Emma Stotesbery logged 15 and 13 set assists, respectively, while Kadyn Perkins contributed another 11. Stotesbery also accounted for 16 set assists.
On the offensive side of the net, Claire Stratmoen and Stella Roth each tallied four kills.
Dawson-Boyd drops to 4-4 on the season and looks to avoid a three-game skid when it goes on the road to take on Hancock (5-1) on Monday at 7:15 p.m.
