MANKATO — The Marshall baseball team defeated Mankato East 7-4 on Saturday.

Jacob Hughes led Marshall with three hits while Connor Neubeck added two hits and Chase Douglas, Cole Felcyn and Josh Baker each had a hit and combined for seven RBI.

Baker earned the victory on the mound, going six innings while allowing two runs on seven hits and struck out seven.

Marshall (9-2) will face New Ulm on the road on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
