CLOUD - The Southwest Minnesota State softball team (24-20, 10-8 NSIC) was defeated in both games of a doubleheader Saturday afternoon by the St. Cloud State Huskies (29-11, 11-3 NSIC), dropping game 1 10-2 (6 inn.) and game 2 1-0. GAME 1 SCSU 10, SMSU 2 Ramsey Hopp (8-13) pitched 5 1/3 innings for the Mustangs, allowing 10 runs on 13 hits, striking out three batters. TRACY — The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton softball team was firing on all cyclinders behind an 11-run second inning to pick up a dominant 20-0 mercy-rule win over Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove on Friday.
