DAWSON -- Taylor Hinz's 14 kills highlighted the Lakeview volleyball team's attack as it swept Dawson-Boyd 25-12, 25-11, 25-14 in Camden Conference play on Thursday.
Khya Gawarecki also tallied 15 set assists in the match, culminating in another four kills apiece for Allison Isaacs, Josie Spaude and Avery Hinz.
Defensively, Taylor Hinz, Isaacs and Laia Javens each put up a pair of blocks. In the front row, Adison Hinz tallied seven digs while Taylor Hinz, Aubrey Pederson and Jersey Stensrud each contributed another five.
Ragan Viessman led Dawson-Boyd with eight digs and six kills, and Emma Stotesbery finished with nine set assists.
Thursday's win puts Lakeview back above .500 at 6-5 on the season. The Lakers look to continue to make progress when they host Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg (4-5) in Cottonwood on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
Dawson-Boyd falls to 4-7 on the season and looks to end its five-game skid when it goes on the road to take on Canby (2-9) on Tuesday at 7:15 p.m.
