KERKHOVEN -- Thanks in part to double-digit kill performances from Eden Meagher and Brek Fier, Minneota volleyball rolled to a sweep over KMS, winning 25-23, 25-13, 25-11.
Meagher led the Vikings with 15 kills, while Fier added 10 as Minneota earned its second straight sweep after defeating Dawson-Boyd earlier in the week.
Leah Coequyt contributed nine kills, while Ava Rost added five and Sophie Gillund finished with four.
The Vikings were also strong defensively, recording nine blocks as a team. Fier led the way with five blocks.
Autum Anderson paced Minneota with 14 digs and added one service ace. Libby Sussner recorded the team's other two aces.
Gillund and Sussner also helped lead the Vikings' offense with 22 and 20 assists, respectively.
The victory improves Minneota to 10-2 overall and 4-0 in conference play.
The Vikings will return to action this weekend at the Class A Showcase, with matches scheduled for Friday and Saturday.
