To the editor: After many years of reading the works of Ms. Madetzke in the Opinions section of your paper, I feel compelled to write a response to her most recent hateful comments of last week.   In this current age of hate-speak found in all corners of the world, it amazes me that the Independent continues to take the position of continuing to give air time to such hateful rhetoric.
