Christian films good family entertainment

To the editor: Are you wishing for more good family entertainment in movie theaters? The movie “Ordinary Angels” is here in Marshall right now. The acting is superb. You will laugh, cry and at times hold your breath. It’s a must see movie. In addition, the movie “Someone like you” will be released on April 2. It’s based on Karen Kingsbury’s book of the same title. Karen is a best-selling author of life-changing fiction. Express your views at state flag meeting

To the editor: In yesterday’s (March 1) letter to the editor a gentleman from Owatonna submitted an article regarding an unwarranted change to the Minnesota flag. Our state flag has been in place for over a 100 years but just recently has been called offensive and has to be replaced. A handful of left leaning individuals who with the support of the DFL dominated legislature formed a committee to get input on a new flag design. To the editor: Let me see a show of hands of those in Minnesota that requested a Change in the Design of the Minnesota state flag? Thought so. Your state representatives have decided that our flag needed to be “redesigned” because somehow, someone may find it offensive. To the editor: A response to the 2-24-2024 ‘True Light high school proposal’ by Jim Muchlinski. As Jim said about the True Light people: “They clearly believe that without God nothing is important, but that with Him nothing is impossible.” My hope and prayer is that someday Catholics would be just as motivated as the True Light people, and thereby bring about the resurrection of Central Catholic High School.
