Republicans minimize actions of a deranged man

To the editor: Last week’s episode of “60 Minutes” was a stark reminder of the fact that our last election was on the verge of being overturned by completely illegal means leaving Donald Trump in office. Farm country supports Fischbach

To the Editor: In his Feb. 14 letter, Dennis Phelps attacks our U.S. Representative Michelle Fischbach for “not aligning herself with our liberal and socialist governor and U.S. Senators.” I would remind him that Michelle is a Republican, who in 2020 easily upset Collin Peterson, a 30-year U.S. Representative. Had Fischbach ran as a liberal and/or socialist, she would not be our congresswoman. Her 7th district constituents seem very pleased with her. We need change, get involved

To the editor: The current crop of politicians with the majority in St Paul are more concerned about power, control, their personal careers and the benefits that come with their positions than they are for the citizens they represent. Meanwhile, we as citizens are being forced to endure whatever collateral damage their policies and mandates cause. Laying blame on anyone other than ourselves for this is cowardly. Fischbach alternative view of universe

To the Editor: We in southwest Minnesota enjoy a remarkable situation by having a representative in Congress who does not need to align herself with the liberal, socialist leadership of our governor or either of our two United States Senators. As such, she continues to bring us her alternative view of the universe by allowing a former disgraced office holder to be the “tail wagging the dog” in most of her decision making. To the editor: President Biden will not be charged for any wrongdoing in the mishandling of classified documents. The reason is not because he is innocent, but rather because he is considered feeble-minded due to his age. He cannot remember significant events in his personal history, including the death of his son, the years he served as Vice President, and the fact that he is no longer in that role.
