The war at our doorsteps

To the editor:

I’m going to go out on a limb and use words that trigger the media and those who use the media to promote their toxic narrative. Here it is. We, the people, need to stand together and “fight” against the tearing down of our American values and the system of government which has allowed us to be free.

Tactics of those trying to destroy the America we have known and loved include introducing major areas of conflict on many different battle fronts. They want us to be so overwhelmed that they can divide and conquer.

Consider the issues before us: an unchecked border, an ideology which pits us against one another, elections which we no longer can trust, gender confusion, reinvention of our American history, not allowing us to raise our own children, the taking away of our medical freedom, the unashamed and reckless running up of our national debt, and the threatening loss of the right of law-abiding citizens to bear arms, to speak freely, or to use God’s Word as our source of Truth and guide for life.

We are in the midst of a “war”, and it’s time to “fight” non-violently, but unapologetically. Together we have talent and resources which need to be pooled.

As with any war it will require sacrifice. Voting and giving donations is a start but we need “boots on the ground.” And we can’t look at the other guy to sacrifice when we are unwilling. It took Pearl Harbor to get America into WWII. If we hide our heads in the sand Pearl Harbor 2021 will have come and gone and our country may be too far gone.

This is a “war” which must be fought and won now. There is too much at stake — the very way of life for us and our children. This conflict is not coming; it is here. The war is not a distant one; it is at our doorsteps. Join the “fight” while there still is time.
