Snowy holiday weekend disrupts traffic
MARSHALL — Thanksgiving weekend was a wintry one, thanks to a slow-moving storm that blanketed the region in about 4 to 6 inches of snow. Snowfall totals varied around the Marshall area, with the city of Marshall reporting 5 inches over Friday and Saturday. Looking ahead, southwest Minnesota will be dealing less with snow than with frigid temperatures, said National Weather Service technician Tim Masters. “The big feature of the weather this week is the cold,” Masters said Monday.
