Lanoue, Ankrum combine for 41 to power Panthers past SWMC

TRACY — Gretchen Lanoue and Melaina Ankrum’s combined 41 points led the Tracy-Milroy-Balaton girls basketball team to a 61-53 win over Southwest Minnesota Christian in non-conference play on Thursday. The win marks three straight for the Panthers. Lanoue scored a game-high 21 points on 5 of 12 shooting from the field and 11 of 14 shooting from the free-throw line. WWG 80, YME 60 WESTBROOK — Leah Carter set the Westbrook-Walnut Grove girls basketball career rebounding record on Monday night as the Chargers earned an 80-60 non-conference win over Yellow Medicine East.
