SMSU ATHLETICS: Fan policy set for SMSU baseball and softball home games

MARSHALL – The Southwest Minnesota State University Athletics Department has announced its fan policy for the 2021 baseball and softball season.

SMSU will be allowing a maximum of 250 fans for baseball and softball home games. Family members of SMSU and visiting team rosters will each be identified using a pass-list format. The allocation of tickets, managed by the SMSU Athletics Department, will be based on NCAA and MDH guidelines and will be communicated with SMSU and visiting team personnel.

All spectators are also required to fill out the COVID-19 “daily self-assessment” form online before arriving at the ballpark at SMSU.edu. Upon arriving at the ballpark, all fans must check-in at the family/spectator check-in table. All individuals are required to wear masks at all times and to follow social distancing guidelines.

For the safety of student-athletes and fans, Southwest Minnesota State University will continue to the monitor the ever-changing COVID-19 environment and will announce updates if needed.
