Big South announces All-conference teams for girls tennis

MARSHALL — The Big South Conference recently announced its All-conference teams for girls tennis, and a few Marshall players made the list.

In the West Division, leading the way for Marshall on the All-conference team was Gionna Parsa and Leah Schaefer. Joining them is Elise Jarchow, Rozilyn Oye and Lauren Versteeg (Luverne), Olivia Lapthorn (Pipestone Area), Payden Beran (Redwood Valley), Ellie Becker, Jaelyn Haler, Gabriela Trapero and Sailor Mohlenbrock (St. James Area) and Kessey Aljets (Worthington).

On the Honorable Mention team, leading the way for Marshall was Mariah Bergjord. Joining her is Ainslie Robinson, Liz Kelm and Olivia Wieneke (Luverne), Mackenzie Mandershied and Skylar Mendro (Pipestone Area), Mya Hanson, Samantha Tetzloff and Allison Bluedorn (St. James Area) and Mariah Darling (Worthington).

In the East Division, on the All-conference team was Te’a Armstrong, Marissa Benz, McKenna Dutton and Kylie Rosenau (Blue Earth Area), Amelia Hildebrandt (St. Peter), Claire Nemmers and Briana Joseph (Fairmont), Makiah Otto (New Ulm), Lizzy Orth, Emily Salfer, Josie Wiebusch and Jayna Matejcek (St. Peter), Brooklyn Mauldan (River Valley) and CeCe Huttemier (Waseca).

On the Honorable Mention team was Addison Armstrong and Arika Howard (Blue Earth Area), Maggy Totzke, Lauren Davis and Emily Hagen (Fairmont), Annika Southworth (St. Peter) and Sarah Robbins, Emily Farley and Tanika Johnson (Waseca).
