MARSHALL – Five Marshall Independent boys basketball players were voted to the All-Red Rock Central Conference Team, which was released on Tuesday.

Murray County Central senior Grant Rohrer and Noah Lupkes made the team along with junior Cole Bassett.

MCC?won the Red Rock Conference, posting a 15-1 record in conference play and a 26-4 record overall.

The Bluejays were eliminated the Section 3A Championship by Central Minnesota Christian, leaving them one short of a trip to the state tournament.

Rohrer lead all area scorers during the regular season with 25.5 points per game.

He also led the are in rebounds at 14 per contest.

Red Rock Central saw junior Trevor Pederson make the team along with Westbrook-Walnut Grove senior Kennedy Her.

MCC senior Jack Erickson, Red Rock Central junior Luke Engen and Red Rock Central sophomore Brady Rasmussen received conference honorable mentions.

Pederson finished fifth in the area in scoring at 18 points per game and was also the second-leading rebounder in the area at close to nine per contest.
