Just another slogan

To the editor:

I wonder what the slogan “toward zero deaths”means to Democrats? Obviously nothing as they are going full speed ahead with the legalizing of pot.

On the back of Minnesota Department of Transportation trucks is the slogan “toward zero deaths” — making people aware of the traffic deaths caused by alcohol. The liberals are assuring us that pot will be highly regulated to make sure that minors won’t be able to access it. I suppose in theory that works for liberals, but reality shows that minors somehow are able to get alcohol which laws say they aren’t to have. Will reality be different with pot because these liberal lawmakers say it will? They are going to make our roads more dangerous.

What can be done?

I have four action points:

1. A clause in the bill making it possible to sue those responsible for pot legalization.

2. The first person killed as a result of someone under the influence of pit, the law becomes null and void.

3. Call your senator and representative and demand these provisions be in the law.

4. Call the governor and demand the same. Also ask the governor how he will compensate the family that loses someone because of the bill he signed into law?
