Zoom with Santa — Santa is visiting children over Zoom this holiday season. Register today to set up a time for your child to visit with Santa. Zoom sessions will be in a small group setting with other children which will allow time for your child to share what they would like for Christmas, ask Santa questions, and even get a picture taken with Santa that will be emailed to you. Choose from sessions being held on Dec. 1, 7, 15 and 21.

Community Services encourages anyone who needs to visit our offices, to call (507-537-6767) in advance to schedule an appointment. The office is open with limited staffing.

The Red Baron Arena & Expo will be closed to the public through Friday, Dec. 18 as per the Governor’s Emergency Executive Order 20-99.

This closure impacts open skate and adult hockey programs. In addition, the Fairbanks Ice Dogs junior hockey team, has paused their season with tentative plans toreturn in early 2021.

Behind the Wheel Instruction for both students and adults will be paused through Jan. 4.

The Adult Community Center (507-537-6109) will be closed for in-person activities through Dec. 20. Virtual activities will still be available.

Meals on Wheels (507-537-6124) are still providing home delivery and curbside pickup.

SW Adult Basic Education (507-537-7046) office hours will be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 9 a.m. to noon, ESL classes are online and GED will be by appointment only for in-person testing.
