Tuesday was National Night Out, and kids and families gathered at Independence Park in Marshall to meet their local police and emergency responders, and have some fun at the same time. Some of the activities at the park included a special pedal obstacle course. The catch was that you had to make it through the obstacle course while wearing goggles that helped simulate the experience of driving while impaired.

The evening also included a chance to see inside police and ambulance vehicles, drone flights, and a demonstration by the Marshall Fire Department.
