Renee M Clementson found peace and gentle rest, passing away on April 1, 2026. She was preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Darlene Clementson. She is survived by her siblings John (Virginia) Clementson of New London, MN; Kari (Rick) Hegge of Hastings, MN; and Karen (Curt) Crouse of Rosemount, MN; nephews and nieces whom she adored, Tyler (Jenny) Clementson, Erin (Ben) Hoffman, Theanna (Ryan) Maus, Sam (Inge) Hegge, Carleen (John) Melin, Olivia (Johan Fullard Tellez) Crouse Tellez, Mallory (Jake Beaver) Crouse; and great nephews and nieces Harper, Gus, Sully, Annie, Brynn, Malena and Mayla.
Renee was born to Arthur and Darlene Clementson on July 9, 1956 in Rush City, MN.
She lived and worked most of her life in Cottonwood and Marshall. After graduating from high school, she attended Pine City Vo-tech earning a degree in accounting, after which she was employed for many years at Schwan’s, followed by K-Mart and Western Mental Health Center.
Renee had a zest for travel and over her lifetime took many memorable trips by plane, ship, train, car and Greyhound bus. Hawaii was a favorite destination, followed closely by an Alaskan cruise. Renee loved crafting of all kinds and shared her extraordinary talent with family, friends and co-workers. She never missed sending a homemade birthday or holiday card to the ones she loved. Renee loved bird watching and out of the way places, always taking the long way home, usually on a curvy gravel road. Many benefited from the beauty of her love of planting several varieties of flowers, all of which both she and the birds enjoyed as well.
She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
A private celebration of life will be held at a later date. Burial will be at St. Olaf cemetery in Grantsburg, WI.
