MARSHALL– Bobbi Jo Vandendriessche has been named Vice President of Avera Medical Group for the Avera Marshall region.

Vandendriessche, doctor of nursing practice, has been serving in this position on an interim basis since December. She has been with Avera Marshall since 2018 and previously held the role of Emergency Department Manager.

Prior to that, she worked as a nurse practitioner in family medicine and urgent care with Affiliated Community Medical Centers in Marshall for four years.

In her new role, Vandenriessche will have leadership responsibilities over Avera Medical Group clinic operations across the Marshall region. The region consists of Marshall, Granite Falls, Tyler, Lake Benton, Tracy, Springfield and Redwood Falls.

In addition, she will maintain executive leadership over emergency and urgent care services to support collaboration between these clinical teams.

Vandendriessche grew up near Garvin and graduated from Tracy Public School in Tracy. She holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Augustana College in Sioux Falls, S.D. and a doctorate in nursing practice from South Dakota State University in Brookings, S.D.
