Area schools receive educational materials from Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation Marshall area schools are participating in Delta Dental of Minnesota Foundation’s Smiles@School program, which provides first-graders across Minnesota with tools to help them care for their teeth. Markegard is admitted to NDSU Skylar Markegard, the son of Shannon and Michelle Markegard, Lynd, has been admitted to North Dakota State University “With Distinction.” He will enter NDSU in fall 2020 and plans to major in computer engineering. Distinction means that NDSU is acknowledging Markegard as an honor student. In high school, Markegard is active in jazz band.

Master’s in coaching of aport program ranked 14th in nation Southwest Minnesota State University’s master’s degree program, physical education: coaching of sport, has been ranked 14th in the nation by SportsManagementDegreeHub.com for 2019. The rankings are based on affordability, flexibility and academic prestige. Just 15 programs were ranked, and SMSU is the only Minnesota institution on that list. Minnesota West Foundation to receive grant from AT&T Foundation The Minnesota West Foundation will receive an AT&T Foundation grant to support its scholarship programs for students attending Minnesota West Community and Technical College during an event today on the Granite Falls campus. The grant from the AT&T Foundation will support scholarships for Minnesota West students with financial need who are taking college classes in high-demand occupations, including welding, community health, information technology, pharmacy technician or nursing assistant.
