MSU Mankato announces dean’s list The Academic High Honor and Honor lists (dean’s lists) for the past fall semester at Minnesota State University, Mankato have been announced by Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs David Hood. Among 3,995 students, a total of 1,227 students qualified for the High Honor List by achieving a 4.0 straight “A” average, while 2,768 students earned a 3.5 to 3.99 average to qualify for the Honor List. A Minnesota Connections Academy (MNCA) student from Lyon County was among the 28 students recently inducted into the National Art Honor Society in recognition of their outstanding scholarship in the visual arts. During a virtual ceremony held on the online school’s LiveLesson online classroom platform, Koda Colombe, a sophomore from Marshall, was inducted into the National Art Honor Society for students in grades 9 through 12. The Marshall High School speech team competed in the first tournament of the season at Orono High School on Saturday. The Marshall team placed 6th out of 19 schools, with Prior Lake winning 1st.
