AGAPE to perform Wednesday at First Lutheran

The public is invited to a concert at First Lutheran (100 Church St., Marshall) at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday. AGAPE is a hip hop artist who combines dancing, rap and storytelling. He has been touring full time for over 10 years performing for hundreds of thousands of youth across the U.S., and in eight countries.

He has recorded six CDs and has recorded with critically-acclaimed producer Ant (Atmosphere, Brother Ali) as well as Chris Brown’s producer Ra Charm. He has shared the stage with the likes of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Toby Mac, David Crowder, Tony Campolo, and Gospel giant Kirk Franklin.

Spring salad luncheon is Tuesday in Tracy

A spring salad luncheon will be from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesday at the Tracy United Methodist Church, 162 Morgan St., Tracy. The buffet-style salad luncheon features salads, bread, treats and a beverage. The fundraiser is sponsored by the UMW with proceeds going to women’s and children’s missions. Tickets for $8 are available at the door.
