Night of Cornerstone Wednesday

Night of Cornerstone will be at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cornerstone Church at 202 North Fourth Street. The Night of Cornerstone is an opportunity for adults and children and is on the first Wednesday of every month. Night of Cornerstone is a time for worship, prayer and fellowship, with a special program for children.

Belgian waffle breakfast April 7

St. Mary’s youth group is having a Belgian waffle breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon Sunday, April 7, at St. Mary’s Church in Cottonwood. Free will offering. Proceeds will go toward the church’s youth programs.

Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Spring Rally

The Pipestone Zone Lutheran Women’s Missionary League Spring Rally will be Saturday, April 6, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Fulda, 400 N. Maryland Ave.

9 a.m. — Registration, coffee, fellowship

9:30 a.m. — Rally begins

Speaker: Pam Lienemann, escort of Gideon, comfort dog. Gideon is a trained K-9 comfort dog at St. Michael’s Lutheran Church in Bloomington. He serves the community and is deployed in times of crisis to bring comfort to those affected, including first responders and volunteers who serve them.

Gifts of the Heart: Items for the Hospice House of Murray County: bird seed or suet, rubber spatulas, Meat thermometer, Pyrex bowls with lids, certificate from Slayton Meat Market, certificate from Maynards Grocery, Fulda or Almich’s Market, Slayton, cash for supplies. Also need two floor standing oscillating fans and 40″ Smart TV for guest room.

Family bingo night April 14

St. Mary’s Church youth in Cottonwood will be hosting a family bingo night at 6:30 p.m. April 14. Free will offering. All money donated goes to support the St. Mary’s Scholarship Fund.
