MARSHALL — Laura Pechtel-Pfeiffer, and Travis Andries announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Cindy and Brian Pfeiffer and Lynn and Tom Andries, all of Marshall, and Denny and Tamara Pechtel of Maple Grove.

Pechtel-Pfeiffer is a graduate of University Wisconsin-Stout with a degree in retail merchandising and management with a business minor. She works for Target Corporate headquarters in downtown Minneapolis as an associate buyer. Andries graduated from University of Minnesota with a degree in communications. He works for US Bank Corporate offices in downtown Minneapolis as proposal writer. The couple plans a Jan. 27, 2018, wedding at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall.
