MARSHALL -- Tanya Polfliet and Evan Doom announce their engagement. Parents of the couple are Dan and Becky Polfliet of Marshall and Bernard Doom and Jill Doom of Cottonwood. Polfliet is a 2008 graduate of Marshall High School and a 2012 graduate of SMSU. Doom is a 2001 graduate of Cottonwood High School and a 2007 graduate of Minnesota West Canby. The couple plans a Sept. 4, 2021, wedding at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church in Marshall.
