HUTCHINSON — Oliver Voigt’s 26-point explosion propelled the Marshall boys basketball team to a non-conference win on Tuesday night, taking down Hutchinson 81-59. Voigt shot 12 of 19 from the field in the win and also grabbed 15 rebounds, six of which came on the offensive glass. On the defensive end, he tied Levi Maeyaert with a team-high two blocks and also came away with a steal. Davion Xayarath and Patrick Morman aided Voigt’s scoring with 16 and 15 points, respectively. REDWOOD FALLS — The Marshall gymnastics season finished off its season Saturday afternoon at Redwood Valley High School, placing sixth out of seven teams at the Section 3A championships. Marshall finished with a team score of 118.9, beating out Windom/Mountain Lake’s 112.8.
