SMSU programs open fall camps under new leadership
The football, volleyball, and women’s soccer programs at Southwest Minnesota State University began preparations for the 2022 season as fall camps opened up on Monday. All three teams are led by coaches in their first season leading their program. Tyler Boddy took over the volleyball team in December 2021 after 10 seasons as a SMSU assistant coach under Terry Culhane. Mustangs women’s soccer coach Clay Glasgow spent the past eight seasons as head coach of the Dakota Wesleyan University (Mitchell, S.D.) women’s soccer program. New SMSU football coach Scott Underwood led the football program at St. Cloud State University for 12 seasons (2008-19).
