AZUSA, Calif. — The Southwest Minnesota State University women’s tennis team split a pair of matches on Friday to conclude its short trip to California.

SMSU snapped a five-match losing streak on Friday morning defeating William Jessup (Calif.), 7-0, before losing 7-0 to Azusa Pacific (Calif.)

SMSU, 10-8 overall, continues non-conference next Friday versus Doane (Neb.) and then will face Nebraska-Kearney next Saturday. Both matches will take place in Kearney, Neb.
