WESTBROOK — Mass of Christian Burial for Agnes Emma (Klein) Vortherms, 97, of Westbrook will take place at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Anthony Catholic Church in Westbrook. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m. today at Westbrook Funeral Home and will continue one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will be in the Westbrook Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please send memorials to the Westbrook Public Library, Mary & Martha’s Food Pantry, or St. Anthony Catholic Church. She died peacefully Sunday, April 19, 2026, at Oak Terrace in Le Sueur.
She was born Jan. 16, 1929, to William and Clara (Hoffman) Klein in Hospers, Iowa.
Survivors include her children: Ruth Vortherms of Le Sueur, Joyce Vortherms of Westbrook, Glen Vortherms of Sun City, Arizona, and Mary Hertwig of Buffalo; four grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and brother, Arthur Klein.
