MARSHALL — The Tomahawk Conference recently announced its All-Conference team for volleyball, and an area player made the list.

On the honorable mention team, Halle Huhnerkoch was the lone representative for Wabasso. Joining her is Trista Ibberson and Allie Labat (Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s), Katie Buboltz (BLHS), Cylee Graff and Brooklyn Sturm (Springfield), Brynn Busse (GFW) and Hailey Hollar (Cedar Mountain).

On the All-Conference team is Jaci Domeier and Madison Mathiowetz (Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s), Allison Dornseif and Tia Weispfennig (BLHS), Courtney Wendt (Springfield), Sydnee Helget, Sarah Mohr and Emily Schommer (New Ulm Cathedral), Hannah Thorsen and Julia Schweiss (GFW), Nadia Meyers (Cedar Mountain), Lili Mohror and Abbie Riederer (MVL) and McKenna Strong (Sleepy Eye).

Mathiowetz was named the conference’s Player of the Year while Sleepy Eye St. Mary’s Jen Walter was named Coach of the Year.
