Marshall swimming takes down St. Peter 103-83

ST. PETER — The Marshall girls swimming and diving team defeated St. Peter 103-83 on Tuesday.

In the 200-yard medley relay, the team of Mansi Bell, Maddie Larson, Hailey Brandt and Kaylie Stucke took first with a time of 2:04.36 while the team of Alex Larson, Holly Netzley, Reagan Brandt and Grace Rokeh took fourth with a time of 2:16.24. In the 200-yard freestyle, Emma Beavers took second with a time of 2:17.00 while Tera Johnson took fourth with a time of 2:19.64 and Rokeh took fifth with a time of 2:20.81. In the 200-yard individual medley, Marshall took the first three spots, with Hailey Brandt placing first with a time of 2:25.38, followed by Maddie Larson in second (2:29.82) and Alli Kopitski in third (2:34.54).

In the 50-yard freestyle, Stucke took first with a time of 27.50 seconds while Clara Bader took third with a time of 28.33 seconds and Alana Condezo took fifth with a time of 28.47 seconds. In the 1-meter dive, Reagan Brandt took second with a score of 162.25 while Bader took fifth with a score of 144.25. In the 100-yard butterfly, Hailey Brandt took first with a time of 1:04.25 while Bell took third with a time of 1:11.68 and Mary Lanoue took sixth with a time of 1:19.13.

In the 100-yard freestyle, Condezo took first with a time of 1:01.06 while Johnson took fourth with a time of 1:02.56 and Netzley took sixth with a time of 1:05.71. In the 500-yard freestyle, Stucke took first with a time of 5:37.12 while Kopitski took third with a time of 5:59.12 and Reagan Brandt took fifth with a time of 6:09.29. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, the team of Maddie Larson, Kopitski, Condezo and Bader took second with a time of 1:53.53 while the team of Johnson, Alex Larson, Reagan Brandt and Beavers took third with a time of 1:55.36 and the team of Autumn Deutz, Rokeh, Elizabeth Coudron and Netzley took sixth with a time of 2:04.46.

In the 100-yard backstroke, Bell took first with a time of 1:08.80 while Alex Larson took fifth with a time of 1:13.37 and Coudron took sixth with a time of 1:24.02. In the 100-yard breaststroke, Beavers took first with a time of 1:16.38, followed closely by Maddie Larson in second with a time of 1:16.69. Netzley took sixth in the event with a time of 1:26.04.

Finally, in the 400-yard freestyle relay, the team of Stucke, Condezo, Bader and Hailey Brandt took first with a time of 4:03.71 while the team of Bell, Johnson, Beavers and Kopitski took third with a time of 4:16.84.

Marshall will compete on Oct. 2 against Tri-City United at 6 p.m.
