SMSU GOLF: SMSU places third at Spring Challenge
AVONDALE, Ariz. — The Southwest Minnesota State women’s golf team shot a 29-over 317 to finish in third place at the four-team SMSU Spring Challenge at Coldwater Golf Course on Thursday. The tournament was scheduled for two rounds, but was shortened to 18 holes.
SMSU’s Hannah Kohls shot a 1-under-par 71 to capture medalist honors in the 25-player event.
Courtni Frank finished with a 6-over 78 to finish in fourth place for the Mustangs. Sally Gallagher shot an 11-over 83 to finish 11th, Natalie Bohnert tied for 14th with a 13-over 5, while Sydney Noel carded a 28-over 100 to tie for 22nd.
