On Friday, Marshall 10U played Rosemont and won 6-0. At 10:50 into the first period the girls got on the board with a goal by birthday girl Emerson Demuth. They did not score again until 9:42 into the second period when Brooklyn Mauch hit the back of the net for her first of four goals for the game. She was assisted with two goals by Chevi Nyhammer-Atwell and Melany Kramer. Lucienne Pearson scored in the third period with an assist from Elsie Deutz. The Tiger defense of Christianson, Holmgren, Foley, Demuth, Kesteloot, Kolander and goaltender Lily Stelter kept Rosemont from getting on the scoreboard.

On Saturday morning the girls took on Fairmont, coming away with a 3-0 win. Brooklyn Mauch had a hat trick for the game with Lily Stelter getting the shutout. Again, thanks to some great defense, the Tigers were able to keep shots on their goal down to a minimum.

The girls then took on South St. Paul and ended the day with a 4-0 win. After a scoreless first period the Tigers were able to get on the scoreboard with a goal from Chevi Nyhammer-Atwell at 9:02 in the second period. Melany Kramer scored a minute later with an assist from Nyhammer-Atwell. Peyton Demuth earned two goals for the game and Lily Stelter came away with another shutout for the tournament.

The girls lost a heartbreaker of a game to Hastings Sunday morning. Hastings got on the board first at 9:29 into the second period. Brooklyn Mauch put the Tigers on the board a few minutes later and that would be their last goal of the game. The teams played sudden death for five minutes with neither team able to hit the back of the net. It all came down to a 3-on-3 shootout, where Hastings was able to get one in while the Marshall girls could not, ending the game at 2-1 in favor of Hastings and the girls 10U team brought home the second place trophy.

The 10U team will play again this Saturday in Fairmont.
