SMSU MEN’S BASKETBALL: Ticket prices announced for SMSU NSIC Tournament game

MARSHALL – The annual Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference and Sanford Health Women’s and Men’s Basketball Tournaments are set to begin next Wednesday at various campus sites.

The SMSU men’s basketball team will host an opening round game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. versus an opponent to be determined. The SMSU women will play on the road on Wednesday versus an opponent to be determined. The official tournament bracket will be announced this Saturday night following the conclusion of the regular season.

The NSIC office has announced the ticket policy for Wednesday’s SMSU home game. Prices are $13 for reserved chairbacks, $10 for adult general admission, $2 for students, while children five and under are free.

All spectators will be required to purchase a ticket, including SMSU season tickets holders. Tickets can be purchased online at SMSUmustangs.com/tickets or at the R/A Facility box office opening one-hour prior to the game. Season ticket holders can purchase their seats thru their online account, at the R/A Facility box office during the SMSU home basketball games on Feb. 16 & 17 or by contacting the SMSU athletics department. Reserved season tickets not purchased in advance will be released to the general public for purchase at 6 p.m. on Wednesday.

Following the first round games, the quarterfinals, semifinals and championship games will take place Saturday-Tuesday, Feb. 24-27, at the Sanford Pentagon in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. The men’s tournament quarterfinals will take place on Saturday, Feb. 24, while the women’s quarterfinals will be played on Sunday, Feb. 25.
