PREP SPORTS ROUNDUP: Knights top MACCRAY with strong first half

TYLER – The Russell-Tyler-Ruthton Knights continued their early season dominance with a convincing 72-32 victory over MACCRAY.

Garrett Kern led the way with 22 points. Westin Kirk scored 16 points and grabbed six rebounds. Cooper Hansen scored 14 points and dished out six assists.

With the win the third ranked Knights improved to 15-0. They’ll be back in action on Thursday against Lakeview.

RCW 55, TMB 43

RENVILLE – The Tracy-Milroy-Balaton boys basketball team fell to Renville County West 55-43 on Friday.

Moses Dolan led the way for the Panthers with 15 points while Fritz Landherr added six and Trevor Larson, Rylan Fogelson and Jett Davis each had five. Matt Timmerman led in rebounds with nine while Dolan added seven. Landherr led in assists with five.

TMB (2-14) will face Redwood Valley on Monday at 7:15 p.m.

Lakeview (12-4) will face RTR on Thursday at 7:15 p.m.
