Focus on keeping life a right

To the editor: “We hold these Truths to be self-evident, that all Men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.” These words are found in the second paragraph of our “Declaration of Independence” from Great Britain, adopted July 4, 1776. To the editor: The recent choice of Tim Walz as a VP candidate has certainly spawned some interesting opinions about Walz and the DFL in general. It’s amazing how much people’s special interests can play a part in their perception of reality.
