Wade “Pretty Boy” Zephier

LOWER SIOUX – Visitation for Wade “Pretty Boy” Zephier, 29, of the Lower Sioux will continue at 5 p.m. today in the Yankton Sioux Tribe South Housing Gymnasium in Wagner, South Dakota. Visitation began Sunday and will go until 9 a.m. today at the Community Hall on the Lower Sioux Community. Burial will be at St. Paul’s Cemetery in Marty, South Dakota. Local arrangements are with Nelson-Hillestad Funeral Service of Redwood Falls.

He died Thursday, Oct. 15, 2015, at the University of Minnesota Medical Center.

Wade Zephier, the son of Sherwyn B. Zephier and Lydia M. Neis was born May 18, 1986, in Marshall.

Survivors include his parents; children Braxton Maxine Nedred of Wagner, South Dakota, Alana Kiyukan of Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and Wade Pretty Boy James Kiyukan of Sioux Falls; and siblings Glen O. “Chaske” Zephier of Wagner, Red Sky Zephier and Sherwin R. Zephier, both of Greenwood, South Dakota, and Marcel D. Zephier of Redwood Falls.
