Marshall’s Adult Community Center hosted a panel presentation Wednesday featuring Vietnam veterans Dan Dybsetter of Porter and Pam Barrows of Farmington. HENDRICKS — Changing weather and unsafe ice conditions led the Lake Hendricks Improvement Association to cancel the annual ice fishing derby planned for Saturday. Instead of having the derby this year, the LHIA will hold a new event, the Indoor Fishing Bingo Banquet, on March 28. “We’re still going to do everything, it’s just going to be indoors,” said Greg Pearson, of the LHIA.
