MARSHALL — A special city council election will be held on Nov. 3 to fill a vacancy left when council member Amanda Schwartz stepped down. On Tuesday, council members officially called for a special election in Marshall’s Ward 2 . Earlier this month, Schwartz resigned from her council position because she was moving outside the city. Schwartz’s term expires on Jan. 1, 2029.
