MARSHALL — An oncoming burst of rain interrupted some of the 4th of July festivities in Marshall on Saturday. The weather sent many visitors at Independence Park running for shelter to wait things out. While the Marshall city band wasn’t able to give its whole planned concert, the rain let up with enough time for the band DRIVE to take the stage, and for the annual fireworks display to go on as scheduled.
