SMSU SWIMMING: Mustangs named a CSCAA Scholar All-America Team
RICHMOND, Va. – The Southwest Minnesota State women’s swimming & diving team was recently selected by the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) as a Scholar All-America Team for the Spring 2022 semester. SMSU posted a GPA of 3.23 to earn the honor.
In total, 731 teams from 441 colleges and universities earned the honor.
A total of seven SMSU swimming & diving student-athletes earned Academic All-NSIC honors following the 2021-22 season.
Greg Earhart, CSCAA Executive Director highlighted Southwest Minnesota State University’s achievements noting, “Coach Wahle has done a good job building Southwest from the ground up and this is just the latest example.”
Founded in 1922, the College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA), is the nation’s first organization of college coaches. The mission of the CSCAA is to advance the sport of swimming and diving with coaches at the epicenter of leadership, advocacy, and professional development.
