Kilowatts use solid pitching to take out Wabasso

GRANITE FALLS — Wabasso put up the first run of the night in the opening frame, but a strong pitching performance the rest of the way from Dalton Anderson gave Granite Falls a 4-1 win over Wabasso on Wednesday night.

Anderson went all nine innings on the mound for the Kilowatts, allowing just one run on six hits and striking out eight batters.

Bennett Knapper led GF on offense, going 3 for 3 with an RBI and a run scored. Jordan Odegard added a pair of hits in the win.

CJ Theis went 2 for 3 with a double to lead the Jaxx offense, while Josh Guetter also recorded a pair of hits. Sam Guetter scored the team’s lone run.

Granite Falls will host Raymond on July 15 while Wabasso will make a quick drive down the road into Milroy to face the Yankees on Friday.
