MSHSL suspends all spring activities until further notice

MARSHALL — As Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz provided the state with another update with precautions toward COVID-19, the Minnesota State High School League did as well for spring activities and its participants.

According to the MSHSL, effective immediately and ultimately continuing until Walz lifts the closure of schools declaration, all participation in MSHSL spring activities at all member schools is suspended which includes competitions, training and practice sessions, scrimmages and other contests.

A decision has not yet been made on whether to cancel spring activities altogether.

Additional information will be provided as soon as it becomes available and when decisions are being made.
