MARSHALL – The section brackets for baseball were recently announced, with multiple area teams earning their postseason seedings.

Section 3A

In Section 3A, Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg earned the No. 1 seed in the North bracket and will face No. 8 seed Dawson-Boyd on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Sunburg. Canby earned the No. 5 seed in the North and will face No. 4 YME on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Sunburg. Renville County West earned the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 CMCS on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Renville while Lac qui Parle Valley earned the No. 3 seed in the North and will face No. 6 MACCRAY on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Renville.

In the South bracket, Minneota earned the No. 1 seed and will face No. 8 seed Lakeview on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Minneota. Wabasso earned the No. 5 seed in the South and will face No. 4 Murray County Central on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Minneota. Adrian earned the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 seed Russell-Tyler-Ruthton on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Adrian while Edgerton/SWC earned the No. 3 seed in the South and will face No. 6 RRC/WWG on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Adrian.

Section 3AA

In Section 3AA, Paynesville earned the No. 1 seed in the North and will face No. 8 Redwood Valley on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Paynesville. Benson earned the No. 5 seed in the North and will face No. 4 Montevideo on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Paynesville. Minnewaska Area earned the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 ACGC on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Minnewaska while New London-Spicer earned the No. 3 seed in the North and will face No. 6 Morris Area/Chokio-Alberta on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Minnewaska.

In the South bracket, Luverne earned the No. 1 seed and will face No. 8 Martin County West on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Luverne. Tracy-Milroy-Balaton earned the No. 5 seed and will face No. 4 Pipestone on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Luverne. Fairmont earned the No. 2 seed and will face No. 7 Jackson County Central on Saturday at 11 a.m. in Fairmont while Windom Area earned the No. 3 seed in the South and will face No. 6 St. James Area on Saturday at 1 p.m. in Fairmont.
