A better understanding of preternatural phenomena

Having read the 5-5-2026 ‘Ghosts and crime at vendor show’, I have little doubt that the book author Adrian Lee actually saw and heard what he describes as paranormal phenomena. A good book to read for greater insight into this issue is: ‘Diary of an American Exorcist’ by Fr. Stephen J. Rossetti, copyright 2021. I read it a few years ago. The book gives us a better understanding of what is actually driving some of the preternatural phenomena Adrian and some of us have been witness to. Phil Drietz Delhi

The medicine cabinet was crusty and rusty, much like me. And like me, it’s old enough to be a museum piece. The cabinet was installed in my parents’ bathroom when it was added onto their farmhouse more than 60 years ago. Mother’s Day is different for me this year, altogether different from what I had known for a total of 58 years. My mom died last year on Sept. 14 at the age of 87. She faced dementia with courage late in life. She moved from Boulder Estates to Boulder Creek in 2022, then moved to the Lockwood House hospice house in 2024 when she lost her mobility. To the editor: It matters who you elect. When Biden was President, Republicans were complaining that gas went up to $3.30. Now that gas has gone up to $4.55 under their leadership, they don’t have a care in the world. No criticism of what Trump did all on his own. No urgency to lower prices.
