Why I’m voting for Trump

To the editor: Someone recently asked me why I like Trump. My answer was that I don’t really like a lot of things about Trump, but this election is not about choosing the most likeable person. We are voting between two vastly different ideologies. We are voting for the country we want to leave our children and grandchildren. Trump represents that future and has proven that he can deliver. First $35 million, now another $20 million?

To the editor: Five years ago, RTR voters passed a $35 Million Bond for a new school. Now they want another $20 Million? And this is after a $15 million bond vote failed in 2023. This is an additional 60% of the original bond. Was not this new $35 million school supposed to be complete and the answer to all the problems? To the editor: A few weeks ago I wrote a Letter to Editor in Regards to our school approved voter levy and the district wrote a lengthy rebuttal clarification in the Tyler Tribute How did I come up with my calculation? To the editor: One of my acquaintances recently commented that the main reason that many are convinced that the last election was stolen is simply the fact that the MAGA cult was so much more visible than their opposition. They had boat parades, they waved flags at overpasses, they initiated truck convoys, and generally were much more boisterous about their beliefs. Trump lies are abnormal

To the editor: It is fair to say that all politicians stretch the truth, but it is not true that both sides shatter the truth. Among the many lies that Donald Trump told during the recent debate were that foreign governments are sending criminals to the United States, that immigrants are eating people’s pets, that doctors in some states are allowed to kill babies after they are born, that every legal scholar wanted to reverse Roe v Wade, and that he won the 2020 election.
