Fear over Omicron makes Dems weaker

To the editor:

During the dark days of World War II, Winston Churchill said, “The only thing to fear is fear itself.” It seems fitting for today.

Viruses tend to be more deadly when they start out and slowly evolve to a weaker state. Killing its host does not allow the virus to spread to its maximum potential. Omicron, according to reports from Europe, results in symptoms similar to the common cold. That said, the common cold kills 34,157 each year.

Omicron symptoms are the following: headache, blocked or runny nose, tiredness, and body aches. While Omicron can spread more easily than past versions of COVID, it has been reported that the vaccinated population only gets a mild case lasting for only a few days.

The President plans to regulate employment based on vaccination, and is ordering COVID home tests to be sent out.

If a virus is becoming weaker, what does the president hope to gain?

Fear is a powerful control method. Already, the Democratic party is fragmenting, weakening their chances for 2022.
