Lucille Plaetz

WABASSO — Mass of Christian Burial for Lucille Plaetz, 99, of Wabasso will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Anne’s Catholic Church in Wabasso. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the church, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. and a rosary service will follow. Visitation will then continue one hour prior to services Friday. Burial is in St. Anne’s Catholic Cemetery. Stephens Funeral Service -Redwood Valley Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

She died Friday, Jan. 26, 2024, at the Wabasso Rehab Center.

She was born July 1, 1924, in Sleepy Eye, to Harry and Mary (Seidl) Remiger.

Survivors include her children, Joyce Seitz of Lafayette, Carol Peterson of Arizona, Marie of Wabasso, Leon of Wabasso, Nancy Tedros of Florida and Bruce of Wabasso; 18 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
